WELCOME TO THIRD GRADE
My name is Linda Smith, and I am so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this year! We are going to be learning so many new and amazing things! In third grade, we shift our focus from learning to read to reading to learn. We will be learning about new strategies to help in math and reading. We will also be learning about kindness and self-awareness. All our lessons are built around discussions, hands-on learning and strategies to help build our knowledge. It is my job to assist my students grow as individuals, academically, socially and emotionally.
